HAVE A "BLAST FROM THE PAST" AT WEST COLUMBIA'S SUMMER DAY CAMP
WEST COLUMBIA, Texas -- Varner-Hogg Plantation State Historic Site, Columbia
Historical Museum, and the Brazoria County Library System are joining together to promote the heritage and history of the Brazoria County area. The "Blast from the Past" summer day camp from June 24th-28th will provide hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations for children ages 8-12. Activities include building a replica plantation house, creating an exhibit, and participating in living history demonstrations. "This summer day camp provides an amazing opportunity to discover and learn about
the historical and cultural significance of the Brazoria County area", said Chris Elliott, Site
